New standard of clean from Sebo NZ
The Evolution range of upright vacuum cleaners from
Sebo has been described by the company as a significant
step forward in professional vacuum cleaner design.
Designed and manufactured in Germany, the upright
vacuum cleaners have a number of design features that
make cleaning tasks easier, save time and reduce costs
related to machine service and maintenance.
The light handle weight ensures easy control and smooth
manoeuvrability for longer work periods. The handy wand
and integrated suction hose are immediately ready to clean
hard-to-reach areas or typical above-the-floor items, such as
furniture. Full-size crevice and upholstery nozzles are neatly
and conveniently stored on the back of the machine.
With no electrical connections or wiring in the handle
or main body of the machine, repairs and maintenance is
kept to an absolute minimum.
Sebo said it created the Evolution range based on the
requirements of professional buyers and users.
“We established product durability, usability and ease
of maintenance as the developmental priorities from the
start to create a simple machine that is completely focused
on the essentials: robust; easy to use; economical; simple
to maintain, and ultra-reliable.”
Sebo Evolution vacuum cleaners are available in New
Zealand in 370 and 470 head widths.
Diversey releases silent
Diversey has launched the TASKI Aero tub vacuum cleaner range to
the professional cleaning market in Australia and New Zealand.
Combining patented ultra-silent, whisper technology with an
advanced selection of features, the vacuum is designed to deliver a
high standard of cleaning quality and operational efficiency.
The new range consists of two streamlined models which address
the requirements of frequent professional cleaning at any time of day
and in any environment, significantly increasing the productivity for
building service, hospitality and healthcare.
Extremely reliable, they both have a 585W state-of-the-art vacuum
motor which provides the same cleaning performance as comparable
vacuums with 1000W of power or more. The power is delivered via an
airflow system with patented “whisper” technology which makes the
vacuums exceptionally quiet to operate at any time of the day or night.
“The TASKI Aero is a market leader in ergonomic design, offering
a number of features such as a foot pedal switch and dust bag
indicator,” said the marketer. “The clever design ensures replacing
parts, such as cables and filters, is quick and easy, and can be carried
out by the user in seconds without the need for any tools.
“The compact design also makes it efficient for storage in small spaces
or cupboards, and the integrated handle makes it very easy to carry,
while doubling as a simple and convenient manual cable tidy.”
Jasol introduces Caskade
floor care products to range
Jasol has added Caskade floor care products to its range of floor
care cleaning solutions. The range has been specifically formulated
to provide improved durability for high traffic areas, plus improved
drying times, increasing overall application effectiveness.
“Caskade products protect flooring with a sacrificial layer that
not only prevents foot traffic damage, staining and discolouration,
but will also provide ease of cleaning with efficiency
improvements. Daily sweeping and cleaning will become more
effective and safer,” the company said.
“Customers are influenced by the appearance and cleanliness
of a floor, plus research shows that there is a correlation of
increased retail sales associated with shiny floors. Therefore, the
overall appearance and image of a floor is key to success.”

Dustpan system welcomed by
NZ cleaning supervisors
Recently introduced to the New Zealand market, the Filmop Baggy
dustpan system from Premier Hygiene assists with the collection of
solid and semi-liquid waste on hard surfaces.
Premier Hygiene sales manager Paul Wilde said the company has
received a lot of interest from cleaning supervisors for this product because
it provides an effective solution for the kind of cleaning tasks cleaners hate.
“Cleaning up bodily fluids, such as vomit, after events like festivals and
sports games is a gruesome task, and is often carried out using paper
towels and gloves. Thanks to the rubber blade on the Filmop Baggy
dustpan system, cleaners can slide the offending mess into the pan
and bag, and dispose of it appropriately.” Wilde said.
The Filmop Baggy provides fast and efficient collection of
wet and dry spills and debris from hard floor surfaces. Simply
attach the bag of your choice to the pan and sweep the mess into
the bag. The bag can then be removed and disposed of.
The pan is easy to clean and sanitise, and the floor squeegee
features a rubber blade, which cleans up dirt and fine sand. The
engineered ergonomic handle eases wrist strain and allows for
easy transportation on the workstation.
The system is ideal for use in healthcare
facilities, public buildings and stadiums.
