Actichem to make debut at CleanNZ Expo
Cleaning Systems will launch two Actichem mould removal
products at this year’s CleanNZ Expo.
The company says the Biosan II mould, flood and micro-
organism decontaminant, and the Percide mould and pathogen
decontaminant, have been met with particular enthusiasm from
“Actichem formulators worked closely with SCRP (SCRIA)
members to create a product offering which exceeded global
standards but suited local conditions,” the company stated.
“Both Biosan II and Percide achieve the primary role of
destroying mould and pathogens with amazing efficiency. Whilst
they share a large overlap in application, each product has unique
characteristics which enable the restoration technician to achieve
reliable results every time.”
Both solutions have been independently evaluated in accordance
with BS EN 1650:2008 (mould eradication challenge), TGA Test:
hospital grade disinfectant contaminated conditions and the AOAC
hard surface carrier test.
“Biosan provides outstanding low-cost dilution rates and excellent
cleaning function in disaster restoration scenarios. The beauty of
Percide is the way it entirely removes stains caused by the mould
and brightens the surface being treated. It also fizzes when it
contacts mould, which provides an excellent visual guide.”
The latest addition to the company’s lineup of scrubber-dryers is
available with Tennant exclusive technologies like touch screen
ProPanel, ec-H20NanoClean, Smart-Fill (automatic battery watering)
and IRIS to help businesses decrease the rising cost of cleaning.
The T350 stand-on unit combines speed, agility and cleaning
performance to allow cleaning professionals to get the job done
quickly and easily. It is the ideal cleaning workhorse for schools,
supermarkets, hospitals through to aged care facilities and public
spaces. Ultra-compact in its footprint means it’s highly manoeuvrable
as it easily navigates tight spaces with minimal disturbance while the
speed of the machine covers a large area of the floor quickly.
The stand-on design of the T350 gives the operator a clear view of
their surroundings and the ability to easily get on and off the machine.
Daytime cleaning applications are made possible with the T350’s
quiet-mode, which reduces machine noise levels to as low as 59.7 dBA.
Tennant’s detergent free ec-H20 NanoClean technology reduces the
impact of cleaning operations on the environment in seven key categories
when compared to conventional packaged daily-use cleaning chemicals.
Water consumption is reduced by up to 70 per cent and disposal of
cleaning agents into the waste stream is significantly minimised.
“Tennant Company invests 3 per cent of our global revenue each
year into innovation,” said Adam Esho, Tennant national sales
manager. “The T350 justifies this investment and marks our entry in
the stand-on scrubber category. We look forward to taking this product
to market and showing our customers.”

Proquip NZ has launched the TGB8572 floor scrubber to the
company’s Numatic range of floor scrubber driers.
Proquip NZ marketing manager Kerry Boon said: “Designed to
clean large areas, the TGB8572 boasts a five hour run time and a
72 cm scrubbing path. This combination produces a 12,600 square
metre productivity rate on one charge.
“It also features an 85 litre water capacity, meaning cleaners can
spend less time emptying and refilling the tank and finish cleaning
Ease of use and maintenance is at the heart of the design for the
8572, adds Boon. The simple controls and colour coded components
guide the operator through use, and a flip hinge tank allows for quick
and easy access to the GelTec maintenance free batteries.
“The TGB is the perfect fit for a medium size site that needs a
reliable and easy to use scrubber.”
